Just mucking around. Tom, Sesha, and a very tall, very unwell Senthrasi named Thressa. Senthrasi only reproduce when the mother is near death- the young are constructed directly from the adult’s vital organs- and ravenously consume the corpse of their parent immediately after birth.
Thressa is a cleaner on the space station- born and raised on a Senthrasi planet- has a lot of space life related health issues!
Sesha spin.
She has a tendency to let her head follow her shoulders in a kind of rolling motion- her long neck is very flexible because her skeleton uses semi-flexible fibres rather than solid vertebrae.

Initial designs for Tom.
I’ve had a lot of issues with the main character- walking the lines between average, distinctive, bland and memorable is tricky. I always wanted him to be a very average looking human, made distinctive by the craziness of the surrounding cast of aliens.
I think I’m getting close though. Costume design needs work, and the hair could stand to be a little longer.
